Infosys Q1 net up at Rs 794 cr

Infosys Technologies has announced its first quarter results. The company's Q1 net profit is up at Rs 794 crore (Rs 7.94 billion) from Rs 673 crore (Rs 6.73 billion) quarter-on-quarter, QoQ.

Its revenue is up at Rs 3,015 crore (Rs 30.15 billion) from Rs 2,624 crore (Rs 26.24 billion) QoQ.

The company has added 38 new clients, 8097 employees in the first quarter. Infosys Guidance for Q2 & FY07

Its revenue is expected to go down at Rs 3257 crore (Rs 32.57 billion) from Rs 3280 crore (Rs 32.80 billion).

Its EPS is seen going down by Rs 29.47 from Rs 29.78.

The company's FY07 revenue is expected to go down at Rs 13,350 crore (Rs 133.50 billion) from Rs 13,400 crore (Rs 134 billion).

Its FY07 EPS is also seen going down at Rs 124.51 from Rs 125.74.
