Motorola, a global leader in wireless communications, has launched the SLVR L7, its next generation, ultra-slim handset. The Motorola SLVR L7 builds on Motorola's growing reputation for world-class design that has driven the RAZR V3 platform.
The SLVR L7 is priced at Rs 12,820 in the Indian market.
The Motorola SLVR L7 is narrower than a credit card (86 x 54 mm), but 50% longer, and is even slimmer than Motorazr. It has a precision cut keypad with metallic spun finish, chrome plated side keys, glass display, glass-filled body for rigidity and anodized aluminium battery door.
The cellphone comes with 5 MB internal memory for storage for photos, ringtones, and text messages. Users can download, save and store music, video clips, etc onto an optional TransFlash / Micro SD memory card for endless storage capacity. The phone book can save up to 1000 entries.
The phone boasts of a digital audio player. MP3s from a CD, voice or anything that users can dream up when recorded from an input audio source can be set as a ringtone. A large 176 x 220 pixel 262k color TFT display lets consumers enjoy vivid pictures and videos.
The SLVR L7 supports all Bluetooth-enabled headsets. For business audio applications, a full-duplex hands-free speakerphone is included.

Pantech's 'Ultimate Jukebox' Handset
Pantech, South Korea's second largest mobile phone manufacturer, has launched the IM-U110 handset that is designed to be the 'ultimate mobile jukebox' experience for phone users.
The new IM-U110 model has a built-in flash memory chip, allowing for 1 gigabyte of storage space, the largest flash memory capacity of any handset in the world.
Customised for the playing of music with its advanced MP3 player functionality, the IM-U110's extensive memory facility means that users can save over 200 MP3 songs, or 1,024 high-resolution pictures using the handset's 2 mega-pixel camera. The storage capacity is also useful for gamers as it provides sufficient space for over 1,800 games.
The IM-U110 will be marketed in Korea under Pantech's SKY brand this week, and will soon make its way to the Indian markets.
The phone is priced at $650 in the Korean market (approximately Rs 29,000). The date of its launch in the Indian market or what it would cost in India has not yet been revealed.
