Bharti Tele Ventures on Tuesday said the groups' foray into the retail segment, through a joint venture, would be finalised in the next three-four months.

"A decision on the retail foray will be taken in the next three-four months and we are looking for a foreign partner to form a joint venture," Bharti Televentures chairman and

managing director Sunil Mittal said on the sidelines of Confederation of Indian Industry Annual Conference in New Delhi.

Mittal said the retail foray would start with the food and grocery business.

On investment, he said it depended on the kind of infrastructure, which would be required for the retail foray.

On the groups' plan for airport development he said Bharti was still 'keen' on bidding for airports modifications. "We are open to bidding for airport modification," he said.

He added that the company is planning to launch insurance operations in June.

On telecom, he said Bharti expected to add one million GSM subscribers per month in 2006-07.
