In the wake of another quarter of robust results, N R Narayana Murthy has decided to retire as executive chairman of Infosys in August 2006.
Infosys Q2 net up 35.6% at Rs 606 crore
This was announced by Nandan Nilekani, managing director and CEO of Infosys. However, Narayana Murthy will continue to be the chief mentor of Infosys.

Speaking to investors, at Bangalore, Nilekani said that the company is geared up to handle operations if top-level managers step down.
