In the A340-300 cabin, seat pitch can be adapted in units of one inch. Galleys, lavatories and stowages can be located in different numbers, groupings and locations.
In-flight entertainment can be incorporated in the seats or screens mounted on partitions below the overhead stowages.
These make for an almost infinite variety of cabin interiors.
Each seat in the four abreast layout converts into a lie flat bed. Headroom is the highest in any current aircraft. Ample stowage for hand luggage is provided in closets and in the seat area, making it possible to offer a cabin free of overhead stowage. This option, unique to the A330/A340, leaves even more of the cabin space to passengers.
The First Class cabin also means personal lighting control and the latest in in-flight entertainment and connectivity, whilst individual compartments create the highest personal comfort standards, First Class can also be complemented by a spacious bar area with its relaxed atmosphere.
The A330/A340 guarantees window or aisle seat for all Business Class passengers with its six abreast configuration. The cabin offers the space to work, think and rest, with excellent overhead stowage space for carry on-baggage.
In this cabin, articulated centre bins are installed, offering 192 cm/75 inch headroom.
With its choice of colours and cool white lining the cabin features innovative 'Z shaped seats'.
