Vijay Govindarajan, a.k.a 'VG,' is the Earl C Daum 1924 Professor of International Business at Tuck School, and founding director of Tuck's Center for Global Leadership. He is considered to be the world's 30th best business brain.

He is also the faculty co-director for Global leadership 2020, Tuck's executive education programme that focusses on global management.

Critics say that Vijay Govindarajan's latest book -- Ten Rules For Strategic Innovators -- is likely to be one of the biggest business books of 2006.

Govindarajan's specialises in 'strategy,' with emphasis on strategic innovation, industry transformation and organisation.

His professional credits include: Outstanding Faculty, named by BusinessWeek in its Guide to best B-schools; top ten business school professor in corporate executive education, named by BusinessWeek; top five most respected executive coach on strategy, rated by Forbes; outstanding teacher of the year; and top 50 Non-Resident Indians of the year, named by NRI World .

Prior to taking up his assignment as a faculty member at Tuck School, he taught at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and The Ohio State University. He was also a visiting professor at Harvard Business School, INSEAD, International University of Japan, and Helsinki School of Economics.
