The government is likely to introduce Quick Money Withdrawal Scheme on the lines of Any Time Money in post offices to facilitate easier money transactions.
This was stated by Communication and IT Minister Dayanidhi Maran while replying to a question in Lok Sabha.
He said there was a proposal to set up ATM-type facility in post offices, especially in Bihar, to enable people to use this for sending money orders as well as for withdrawing small amounts.
