Maruti recalls 2,000 Versa

Maruti Udyog Ltd on Tuesday recalled a little over 2,000 units of its Versa model for replacing a faulty component in its exhaust system, free-of-cost.

"During the quality audit at our factory, in a few vehicles, some aberrations have been noticed in one component of the exhaust system," the company said, and said the part would be replaced without any extra charge.

The company, however, clarified that there was 'no functional problem' in the vehicles.
