Air-India service engineers went on a flash strike at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai this morning leading to delay of four flights, including three to the US.
Employees of the ground support department and technicians of the airline struck work at 0500 hrs to protest postponement of union elections scheduled for Wednesday, airport sources said.
Efforts are on to bring additional manpower to dispatch the four grounded flights, Air-India officials said.
