IDEAL FORUM: The ITPO says that last year's trade fair had elicited a huge volume of business in terms of orders booked and enquiries generated, both for imports and exports, and also accounted for substantial sales.

Artisans, big and small, find the trade fair an ideal forum to get in touch with foreign and national buyers and to promote their wares.

This year the level of business is expected to be even higher than during IITF 2002.

On display, this year are products from various industry sectors: electronics and telecom, IT, technology for small & medium enterprises, industrial machinery, equipment and accessories, pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, domestic appliances, agri products, rubber items, wooden carvings, building material, footwear, sports goods, watches, toys and games, furniture and furnishings, et cetera.
