Zee News on Friday announced that it has re-vamped the look of the news channel. This includes the launch of the new studio, the logo and the complete format of news bulletins.
Zee News will also have new promos and cross media campaigns. To break the monotony and infuse interactive dialogues, the channel has also introduced the concept of a series of presenters for various sections of news bulletins, each of who presents a different section of the news.
According to Laxmi Narayan Goel, director, news group, Zee Network: "This initiative is aimed at providing freshness to the channel in addition to keeping in line with the technological advancements in the field."
The last revamp exercise was undertaken by Zee News before the Budget in 2002 and the channel plans to make this a regular feature to constantly make the channel look more dynamic and vibrant. "The channel firmly believes that periodical changes in looks and formats are necessary to meet the changing requirements of the viewers," a release issued by Zee News said.
The transformation has not been restricted to the studio alone, as the on-air graphics, including all the promos and montages, have been changed. The channel ID music has undergone a transformation. However, the changes are only on the surface as the core essence remains untouched.
The focus on "Sabse Pehle" remains exactly the same. The emphasis on breaking news, without compromising on the authenticity of facts, will continue to remain a top priority by the channel, the release added.
