In this scheme, the subscribers would have to make an initial payment of Rs 2,600, which includes Rs 2,075 as first installment for handset and Rs 525 towards activation charges. The remaining price would be paid in 24 equal monthly installments of Rs 150 each.
In this scheme called Tata Indicom 2000, the users would be getting 190 free outgoing calls and calls beyond that would cost Rs 1.10 for a three-minute call.
In the second scheme called Tata Indicom 3000, the subscribers would pay an initial amount of Rs 3,600 that includes Rs 3,075 as first installment for handset and monthly rental of Rs 599.
Balanace price of the handset would be recovered in 10 equal installments of Rs 250 each and the subscriber would get 400 free outgoing calls and calls made beyond that would cost Re 1 for a three-minute call.
In both the schemes the subscribers would be getting 20 per cent discount on international long distance calls. Incoming calls are free on WLL-based limited mobile services.
