There is no disruption of flights of Indian Airlines to Southeast Asia in view of the threat of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, with the management agreeing to the pilots' proposal to have a night stop for the crew at Bangkok instead of Singapore.

The Indian Commercial Pilots Association and the IA management held talks over the past week in which the pilots themselves came up with a solution to have a night-halt for the crew members at the Thai capital, an IA spokesman said.

Singapore has been the most affected by SARS so far.

He said the pilots' plan was accepted by the management and was already in operation. There has been no cancellation or disruption of IA flights to Southeast Asia, he said.

Referring to reports, the spokesman said the pilots union had never served any notice of agitation on the issue and there has been no dispute between them and the management.
