Wipro has posted a one per cent decrease in net profit to Rs 216.2 crore (Rs 2.16 billion) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2003 when compared with Rs 220.6 crore (Rs 2.21 billion) for the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Total income has increased 19 per cent to Rs 1,128.8 crore (Rs 11.29 billion) from Rs 950.1 crore (Rs 9.50 billion).
The company has posted a six per cent decrease in net profit to Rs 813.2 crore (Rs 8.13 billion) for FY03 as compared to Rs 866.1 crore (Rs 8.66 billion) in FY02.
Total income has increased 15 per cent to Rs 4,103.2 crore (Rs 41.03 billion) from Rs 3,555.2 crore (Rs 35.55 billion).
As per the consolidated results, the Group has posted a 2 per cent decrease in net profit of Rs 225.4 crore (Rs 2.25 billion) for the fourth quarter as compared to Rs 231.2 crore (Rs 2.31 billion) for the same quarter last year.
Total revenue rose 31 per cent to Rs 1,237.7 crore (Rs 12.38 billion) from Rs 940.6 crore (Rs 9.41 billion).
The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 820.5 crore (Rs 8.20 billion) for FY03 when compared with Rs 885.4 crore (Rs 8.85 billion) in FY02.
Total revenue have increased to Rs 4,338.3 crore (Rs 43.38 billion) from Rs 3492.6 crore (Rs 34.93 billion).
