Gujarat presents Rs 3.55 bn deficit Budget
The Gujarat's Budget for 2002-2003 projects a deficit of Rs 3.55 billion.
Presenting the Budget in the state assembly on Wednesday, the Gujarat Finance Minister Nitin Patel said that as against the estimated revenue expenditure of Rs 241.65 billion, the revenue receipts were Rs 166.95 billion.
Revenue account deficit has reached Rs 54.70 billion even as the capital account surplus is pegged at Rs 43.68 billion, the minister added.
