RBI to continue with soft interest bias: Jalan

The Reserve Bank of India will maintain a soft interest rate bias, the central bank's Governor said on Friday.

"Whatever monetary stance was announced in October will continue," said Governor Bimal Jalan in response to a question.

He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an infrastructure seminar.
