Blue Star Infotech sees $15 million from tie-up

Indian software services firm Blue Star Infotech said on Monday it expected a development centre it was setting up to serve US-based IrisLogic Inc's clients to generate revenue of over $15 million (Rs 73 crore) in the next three years.

Blue Star Infotech Ltd, which belongs to Indian consumer durables group Blue Star, and IrisLogic, a consulting and software services provider, are working together following their successful joint pitches to clients, a Blue Star statement said.

IrisLogic has clients such as Intel, Cisco and Mentor Graphics.

The development centre will initially accommodate 100 people and the companies expect to more than triple this by 2004, the statement said.

Blue Star Infotech posted a revenue of Rs 54.66 crore (Rs 546.57 million) in the past year to March.
