Nortel honcho joins Bangalore Labs

Timothy Morley, till recently with Nortel Networks as director of engineering, has joined Bangalore Labs Ltd to head its managed services in the US.

Timothy will manage the business for the entire suite of IT support services of the company such as remote network management, remote server management, IT help desk and technical support services.

He will also formulate and implement strategies to aid the company's entry into this new market.

During his tenure at Nortel, Timothy was instrumental in positioning the global telecom network's emerging market groups with key customers in the US. He also worked with Raytheon International, Hughes Communications, and Level 3 communications earlier.

According to Bangalore Labs' CEO Joy Nandi, Timothy's contacts with both enterprise and service provider organisations in the US will enable the company to leverage its 'go-to-market' strategy in the area of IT support services and managed services, a company statement said in Bangalore on Friday.

Bangalore Labs is one of the leading IT infrastructure management services organisation with operations in India, Singapore, Australia. Managed services are delivered through a state-of-the-art facility called the International Management and Resource Center, the first of its kind in India.

Bangalore Labs' clientele includes HLL, Shoppers Stop, Citibank, Hathaway, L&T, Hughes Telecom and GE India Technology centre among others.
