HomeNetwork System selects Wipro's CommEngine

Wipro Technologies announced that HomeNetwork System of Korea has selected CommEngine Software, its portfolio of Home Gateway intellectual properties, for the Korean firm's Home Server and Client Products.

A company release in Bangalore said that with this, Wipro's Solution would drive the Home Server and Client Products to provide end consumer benefits such as broadband internet sharing, security/ firewall, VPN Connectivity, security surveillance, Video over IP and home automation through a user-friendly control interface.

Expressing satisfaction over the integration with Wipro Technologies, Home Network System Vice-President C S Hwang said: ''Our Home Server, Home Pad and Web Pad integrated with Wipro's CommEngine Software creates new value-added services for the end users. The new Home Server and Client Products of HomeNetwork System are great examples of how integrated technologies could result in rapidly deployable and customer-friendly products''. UNI
