Zee's new programmes fail on rating scaleBS ICE Bureau None of the Zee TV's new programmes, including the interactive Aap Jo Bolein Haan To Haan, Aap Jo Bolein Na To Na, figured in the latest TAM ratings for the week ended September 1. The channel, on its part, discounted the ratings as "actively manipulated" and "simply incredulous". Zee is also contemplating to stop subscribing to INTAM ratings by ORG-Marg. "The latest TAM results only reinforce our belief that the ratings are actively manipulated. We want everyone, including advertisers and the viewers, to look at this (these rating figures) critically. Everyone, was watching Zee, even if it was just out of curiosity. So, how is it that none of our new programmes figure in the list," Zee Telefilms Ltd group broadcasting chief executive officer Sandeep Goyal said on Friday. "Now that the truth is going to come out, someone has muddied the water. The ratings clearly suggest that while the whole world was watching Zee, the peoplemeter homes were not," Goyal said. Stating that the company did not subscribe to TAM ratings, Goyal said that he would wait for Monday, when INTAM figures would be released, to decide on the future course of action. On the latest ratings, Star India chief executive officer Peter Mukerjea said that they suggest that "Zee TV's relaunch has had no impact". "Even we are surprised by the TAM ratings because they are so low for our programmes. We were expecting even better figures," Mukerjea said. YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO READ:
