Compaq India launches iPaq pocket PC

Compaq Computer (India) Pvt Ltd launched the Compaq iPaq pocket PC in India, making it the first company ever to introduce the handheld PC into the Indian market.

The company managing director Balu Doraisamy told reporters that the Compaq iPaq pocket PC, with its unprecedented functions, will empower users with information and access on the move, contributing significantly to the productivity of the individual.

The introduction of the iPaq pocket PC into the Indian market is the next step in Compaq's vision of providing 'anywhere' computing through innovative wireless access devices.

The iPaq pocket PC delivers never before computing power to the user in a sleek form factor that makes it truly pocket sized.

Additionally, the iPaq pocket PC has been designed to make it 'future-proof', thus protecting the customers investment.

Compaq India also launched the colour and monochrome versions of the Compaq iPaq H3630.

The colour and monochrome models of the Compaq iPaq H3650 are priced at Rs 35,000 and Rs 25,000, respectively.
