NPPA lowers prices of Ibuprofen

India's National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority has cut the price of bulk drug Ibuprofen to 346 rupees per kg from Rs 365, a government statement said on Wednesday.

The revised price is effective within 15 days from January 15, the statement said.

The announcement is available on NPPA's Web site, www.nppaindia.com. NPPA controls drug prices in the country.
