LIC chairman G N Bajpai elected chairman of NSE

G N Bajpai, chairman, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has been elected as the chairman of the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

A resolution to this effect was today adopted unanimously at the meeting held at National Stock Exchange.

Bajpai succeeds G P Gupta of IDBI as the chairman of the National Stock Exchange. Bajpai brings with him his rich experience of over three decades in the world of finance, an LIC news release said.
