Vergil Tech in partnership with eVentures

Vergil Technologies Limited, founded by Padma Chandrasekaran and N Shekar announced on Monday its partnership with eVentures India, a premier venture capital firm focused on India centric technology investment opportunities.

Vergil Technologies, a next generation IT services company, will focus on developing mission critical software solutions for the complex distributed applications space, fundamental to the network service provider market segment.

Vergil Technologies was the result of eVentures India's 'entrepreneur in residence' program - a unique concept wherein eVI provides critical support to potential entrepreneurs with a sound business idea.

Initially, Padma worked as an EIR with eVI for three months and was subsequently joined by Shekar. During this period eVI provided critical support to Vergil Technologies in areas including detailed market research and analysis, conceptualising business plan, infrastructure provision, recruitment and business development.

Vergil Technologies has a simple but well thought out three-step business strategy. The company plans to capture opportunities in the fast growing NSP segment and play an integral role in its customers business by providing mission critical infrastructure software solutions that support the NSP segment. Further, Vergil Technologies plans to invest in a research and development facility with a view to create technologically powerful and reusable intellectual property.

eVentures India will provide investment, operational and managerial support to develop and accelerate the company's growth. Vergil Technologies will also have the opportunity to leverage eVI's existing global network and relationships to forge business alliances, partnerships and build an international customer base.
