Markets closed for Good Friday holiday

India's share, currency and money markets are closed for Good Friday, a national holiday.

They will reopen on Monday.

The benchmark Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex ended Thursday 4.26 per cent down at 3,184 points.

The rupee ended Thursday at 46.8100/8400 per dollar, sharply weaker than its previous close of 46.6850/6900.
