Top 3 holdings account for 35% of US-64 portfolioUTI disclosed the portfolio of its flagship scheme US-64 on Tuesday. As on August 31, 2000, the portfolio was worth Rs 206.58 billion. Debt instruments issued by the RBI are its biggest holdings and account for 16.34 per cent of the total portfolio value. US-64's next biggest investment is in the Reliance group. US-64 has invested 18.66 per cent of its total portfolio in just two scrips of the Reliance group; Reliance Industries (12.88 per cent) and Reliance Petroleum (5.78 per cent). Put together, the investment in the RBI debt and Reliance group alone account for 35 per cent of the total portfolio. Below is a table of the top holdings of US-64, accounting for 75 per cent of the toal portfolio as on August 31, 2000.
