Govt cuts LPG price down by Rs 10, kerosene by Re 1

Keeping in line with the decision to partially rollback the hiked prices of petroleum products, the government on Tuesday announced reduction of around Re 1 per litre in kerosene and Rs 10 per cylinder of cooking gas.

Announcing the rollback, Petroleum Minister Ram Naik told the Rajya Sabha that these prices would be effective from midnight on Tuesday.
