Pondicherry sets up high-level panel to attract NRI investors

The Pondicherry government has constituted a high-level committee with Lt Governor as chairman to bring in foreign investment and mobilise resources from Non Resident Indians to the Union Territory.

While Chief Minister R V Janakiraman will be the vice-chairman. The other members of the committee are the chief secretary, development commissioner, secretaries of the departments concerned and representatives of commerce and industry from different regions of the Union Territory, an official release said in Pondicherry today.
