Here are readers' best photographs from the past year!
With 2010 drawing to a close, we invited readers to share their unique, original photographs from this past year with us -- here's the next set of responses!
First up we have this image from Ankush Kumar, who explains, "This pic was taken on the outskirts of Chandigarh. We had stopped for some shopping and two children came to our car looking for something to eat. As my wife opened the bag to get some food, they were eager to know what they were going to get."

Fog on the waters

Here is one from Vivek Arcot, who says, "This picture is taken in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, USA. The great thing about fog in the Bay Area is it never completely receeds or sets in. It keeps rising and falling, which makes for some amazing sights. This is the Bay Bridge (not to be confused with the Golden Gate Bridge). "

Golden sunset

And finally, we have this one from Y B D Prakash of Pune, who says, "This was taken at a beach house near Alibagh, 200 kms away from Pune. The specialty about this beach was that the sea had receded by at least by 1.5 kms as compared to the morning, revealing the beautiful rocks underneath."
