Photographs: Aarti Dayal
Here are readers' best photographs from the past year!
We invited readers to share their unique, original photographs from this past year with us -- here's the next set of responses!
First up we have this entry from Aarti Dayal who shot this photograph in Udaipur where she and her husband spent New Year's Eve.
She writes: "What prompted us to taken the shepherd's photograph was his very striking red turban, a part of his traditional Rajasthani attire. He was initially reluctant to get photographed, but agreed eventually after some coaxing."
