The Bollywood actress walked the runway for designer Harshita Chatterjee Deshpande on Day Two of the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/ Festive 2014 and left us spellbound.

Chitrangada closed the show in a garnet red ghagra and choli flaunting a sensual neckline complemented by antique gold work at strategic places.

The temples of South India and the rule of the Chola dynasty were the source of inspiration for the designer's latest collection, Footsteps of the Temple Girl.

Chatterjee used hand woven Kanjeevaram pure silk for the core fabric and paired Chanderi silk, leather, soy net for an unconventional edge to her outfits.

Burnt oranges, moody blues, blood reds, bright fuchsias balanced out gloomy greys and striking shades of black, to perfectly mirror the festive and yet subdued elegance of this collection's inspiration.

Along with zardosi work in antique gold and metal tones on the embroidery, Chatterjee also worked with quilting to contour each form.
