Wendell's tanned hotties groove to Bossa Nova beats

Wendell Rodricks went the Brazilian route on the fifth and final day of Lakme Fashion Week with his Bossa Nova collection. In collaboration with retail giant Westside, he presented beachy, sensual resortwear for the coming summer season.

Broken down into four distinct segments -- Copacabana Sand, Brazil Forest, Rio De Janeiro and Giselle Glam (the last one inspired by Brazilian supermodel Giselle Bundchen) -- Bossa Nova covered all aspects of sexy summerwear, from pure cottons, crepes and linens to cocktail dresses. Suntanned, bronzed models took to the runway as lively beats played in the background. Don't miss it!

First up is a sheer ivory tunic, showing off boy shorts and a bustier underneath. Perfect if you're attending a beach party in Goa!

Tie-up togs

Pia Trivedi steps out in a casual tank and tie-up olive skirt -- very boho chic.

Pyjama party

The designer's fave colour is white, and the first segment shows it off to perfection. Look relaxed in these cotton pyjamas.

Forest fantasy

Moving onto the next segment, we have cotton viscose that drapes heavily but has a light feel, like this olive dress with thigh-high slit and elasticated bodice.

A classy contrast

This number fuses two different colours and two different cuts, styling a fused bodice and sleeves above and a free-flowing asymmetrical skirt below.

Deviant sari

Yes, believe it or not, you are looking at a sari -- one that has a built-in choli! The pallav is split in one section, which gathers to a halterneck. The other half loops into a 'kimono sleeve pallav'.

Carnival colours

The third segment of Rodricks' line is all about bright-hued linens and silk crepe partywear, like this orange box-pleated hem outfit.

Neon dazzler

If you're going extra-short, don't go extra-low at the neckline -- that cardinal rule is exactly why this bold outfit works so well.

Worthy of a supermodel

And the fourth line, by far the best, is sensual eveningwear worthy of a supermodel -- hence the name 'Giselle Glam', for Brazilian bombshell Giselle Bundchen. Seen here is a slip-on sari in lime green, crepe and grey net.

Chic kaftan

Showing off a floating panel and a free-flowing cut, we loved this grey crepe silk kaftan.

Brazilian goddess

Showstopping for the designer was Pia Trivedi in this, the 'Brazilian Goddess' gown. The striking fuschia and body-hugging contours in viscose jersey show off a lot of skin, so if you've got the bod (and the guts), you know where to look!

Hand-in-hand

Rodricks leads Pia down the runway in his most prized creation. Sexy? Most definitely, but to us it looks like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen!
