I did not have a lot of time to lose baby fat: Beyonce
Image: BeyoncePhotographs: Cover of GQ USA, February 2013
Pop star Beyonce says it was a challenge to reclaim her figure back after the birth of Blue Ivy as she had to get back in shape in just three months.
The Grammy winner, who put on 57 pounds during her pregnancy, had booked her first post-baby concert just months after the birth of her daughter, the Huffington Post reported.
"I gained 57 pounds when I was pregnant. I didn't have a lot of time to lose the weight, because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again," she says in a behind-the-scenes video on her upcoming cover story for Shape magazine.
"I'm not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape," she said.
Beyonce, 31, says that the most important part of losing the baby weight was understanding what worked best for her body.
"Not everyone is supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you, you."

I should have worn a bra at 2002 Oscars, says Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow, whose Goth-inspired gown remains one of the most surprising style moments in Oscar history, has said that she should have worn a bra underneath that Alexander McQueen frock in 2002.
The sheer top on the gown left the now 40-year-old actress with an unfortunate saggy look.
The Oscar-winner was the "It" girl at the time, but still the usually chic star landed on several "Worst Dressed" lists in 2002.
Now, Paltrow has come forth and explained her misstep, taking to her GOOP blog to write about her biggest fashion faux pas.
She wrote that she still loves that dress but she should have worn a bra and should have had just had a simple beachy hair and less makeup, the New York Post reported.
She added that then it would have worked as she wanted it to - a little bit of punk at the Oscars.

Adele in demand for brand endorsements

Oscar winning singer Adele is reportedly being persuaded by various make-up brands to become the face of their products.
However, Adele, 24, does not wish to associate herself with any brand with she is unable to connect with, reported Sun online.
"Adele is in big demand. She would only accept if the campaigns were to her taste and incorporate her music. The last thing she wants is a cheesy ad with a naff catchphrase. They would have to be in keeping with her personality," a source said.
It is being said that she is close to finalising a deal soon.
"It's going to take a lot of persuasion to get her to agree but, right now, it looks as if she's close to signing a deal," the source said.

Gwyneth Paltrow reveals miracle diet in new cookbook
Image: Gwyneth PaltrowPhotographs: Cover of V magazine
In her latest cookbook, It's All Good Gwyneth Paltrow offers recipes for and insights into the strict miracle diet that her doctor put her on for three weeks to "clear out her system, heal her gut and revive her body."
Among the diet's forbidden foods - coffee, eggs, sugar, shellfish, deepwater fish, potatoes, tomatoes, bell pepper, eggplant, corn, wheat and meat, the New York Post reported.
The prescription was, she writes, "tough words for a foodie to hear."
Paltrow has been pushing herself as a "foodie" for years.
In 2007, she took a culinary tour of Spain with Mario Batali while refusing to eat the pork for which the country is known.
The following year, she launched Goop, her embarrassingly un-self-conscious lifestyle website.
Despite rampant mockery, she's persisted with the site, offering up recipes, sharing her favorite 600-dollar chef's knives and even adding an e-commerce component to hawk Goop exclusive clothing and accessories.
And now, with her second cookbook, she is once again promoting herself as a foodie and a health guru, despite a weird obsession that treats eating with a greater sense of restriction than relish.
On the front cover, Paltrow goes to comical lengths to look relatable. She smiles toothily in front of rustic wooden crates piled with zucchini.
Her blond hair is tousled and scraggly, her dark roots clearly visible.
She wears little makeup, and her skin walks a precarious line between glowing and shiny.
In the pictures inside, she looks far more comfortable in pastoral art photos in which she's gathering vegetables in a fetching ethnic print dress and Hunter boots.

Jessica Alba gives tips on living naturally in new book
Image: Jessica AlbaPhotographs: Cover of GQ Mexico, February 2008
Jessica Alba's new book 'The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You,' is set to help parents clean up their act by sharing nontoxic alternatives to everyday products, plus parenting tips like packing the perfect diaper bag.
Don't think the actress has got a massive staff to juice her kale and examine her organic lettuce in the produce aisle at Whole Foods - she swears she does it all herself, without any hired help.
"I absolutely do these things. That's why I wrote the book. There's lots of options, like delivery services for fresh produce that is organic, if people just want to do a couple of things in the book that are supereasy," she told the New York Daily News.
She argues that her guide is more relatable than Gwyneth Paltrow's goop.com or Alicia Silverstone's kindlife.com.
She said that Paltrow probably lives a very similar lifestyle, but insists that her tips are much more grounded.
Alba's clean-living philosophy centers on nixing all toxins, particularly harmful chemicals found in many plastics, mattresses and cleaning supplies.
She admitted that she once banned a baby-shower gift from her house because it was made of plastic.
She suggests leaving plastics outside for a few days to off-gas the worst of their chemicals.
While Alba maintains that she's just like every other mom, her book paints the 'Sin City' star as a superwoman that everyday working mothers just can't live up to.
There are even recipes for her favorite DIY scrubs and hair rinses made with everyday ingredients like full fat Greek yogurt, coffee grinds and raw cane sugar.

The pair met last month at the Elle Style Awards and were seen sneaking out of the bash and back to his hotel together in the early hours of the morning.
And it seems Cooper, who recently split from on-off girlfriend Zoe Saldana, was quite taken with the 20-year-old catwalk queen, reported Radar Online.
According to reports, the 38-year-old actor has been in regular contact with Waterhouse since they met and is keen for her to come to the US and meet with him again.
"Bradley has been texting Suki every day since they met. He wants her to come to Los Angeles and visit him; he's intrigued by her and she's very interested in him," a source said.

Jane Fonda, who has just released her 27th fitness tutorial DVD, has claimed that she is finally happy with her own body image.
The 75-year-old actress admitted to Hello! magazine that she no longer tries to achieve the perfect figure, the Daily Express reported.
Fonda, who has suffered eating disorders in the past, added that spending time in therapy and writing books has helped her understand that 'good enough' is good and one doesn't have to be perfect.
However, the Old Gringo star is very conscious of what she eats and is still a fan of exercise.
Fonda's latest DVD is aimed at the elderly and consists of a yoga workout along with her 70-year-old partner Richard.
