After her usual exercise regimes failed to do the job, she signed up for the high-protein, low-carb Dukan diet, that has been credited with helping the Duchess of Cambridge and her mother Carole Middleton get in shape for the royal wedding.

The American Idol judge, who will turn 42 in a few weeks, is to flash the flesh in romantic comedy What To Expect When You're Expecting, which is about four couples preparing to be parents.

Australian model-and-actress Sophie Monk has revealed that she was approached by Playboy Magazine and offered one million dollars to strip off for its pages.
The singer, however, admitted she is still undecided whether to accept the offer or not.
"I got offered Playboy -- the cover, they're trying every angle to get me to do it. They're re-launching the whole thing and making it old-school again, because it kind of lost it for me. When I was younger I was like, 'I want to be on Playboy.' My mum was a Playmate...she was hot," Contactmusic quoted her as stating on Australian radio station 2Day FM.
"They've offered me a million...and it's negotiable how much you show. I don't know, though. Some people are like, 'no'. My agents, they said it could stop me getting movies," she added.
If she does decide to strip off for the magazine, Monk -- who has posed nude before -- will go all out and show her entire body.
"It's Playboy, no one wants to see me clothed. It's boobs and a little bit of...I've done a movie as not myself for like $2.50 showing my boobs, but being me naked, selling magazines for men to get excited over is a different story for me, personally," she added.

The Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, have come up with a 39,000-dollar crocodile backpack for their designer brand The Row.
According to Style.com, Amanda Brooks, the fashion director for Barneys New York, which is carrying the line of bags, said the black crocodile backpack is worth every penny.
"I think if you were every going to spend 39,000 dollars on a bag, that's the bag you should buy because I think you'd wear it for a really long time," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.
"There's enough design to make it interesting and beautiful but they truly are classic bags -- and I think you also might be the only one who has it," she stated.
Brooks told Fashionista that she's truly excited about carrying the line of super-pricey bags, something ultra-luxurious that will still appeal to a younger crowd.
"Obviously we don't carry Hermes bags in the store, so we were trying to find something that appeals to that customer who is willing to spend a lot of money on a bag that's going to last a long time and has a classic design," she added.

New mum Miranda Kerr has never shied away from showing off her enviable figure that she says is in good measure due to drinking coconut oil on a daily basis.
Kerr, who recently stripped down to a leafy bikini, let her body do the talking on just how much she has reaped the benefits of it, reports the Sun.
The Victoria's Secret model, 28, said: "I personally take four tablespoons of coconut oil per day, either on my salads, in my cooking or in my cups of green tea."
Aussie Miranda is married to Lord Of The Rings actor Orlando Bloom, 34. She gave birth to their son -- who weighed 10lbs -- in January.
She also says breastfeeding has helped her figure look even better.

Lady Gaga is all set to intern with Philip Treacy, the designer who shot to fame after making the wacky hat that Princess Beatrice wore to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.
According to the Guardian, Treacy said that he and Gaga have already discussed details of an internship.
Treacy revealed that the pop star's security team, consisting of "four burly bodyguards", had already visited the fashion house's site to measure the security of the building.
"I looked at them as if to say: what?! Who's going to take a pot shot at Lady Gaga?" the New York Daily News quoted Treacy as saying.
"Anyway, she is young, talented, and peculiar -- which I like," he added.
Treacy has also designed some hats that Gaga has worn earlier as a part of her outrageous outfits.

Looks like hard-hitting action roles are taking a toll on actress Zoe Saldana's body.
Saldana has confessed that action-packed movie roles are making her body feel like it's aged a decade since working on James Cameron's Avatar.
She has recently wrapped Colombiana, in which she plays a steely assassin, but despite her athletic abilities, the 33-year-old has revealed that it's becoming harder for her to bounce back from strenuous work on sets.
"I always go home looking like a map. That's what my mom tells me because I have black and blue all over the place. But I'm addicted to the adrenaline of being a physical person. That said, I'm entering the consciousness of mortality. With Avatar I was fine; I'd get hurt, I'd get up, I'd brush it off and keep going. But my body feels like it's aged 10 years. It can't reboot as quickly," the Daily Express quoted her as telling Total Film.

Country music star Taylor Swift has announced the arrival of her first fragrance 'Wonderstruck', named after the lyrics of her hit song Enchanted.
The Love Story hitmaker has partnered with beauty company Elizabeth Arden to release the scent, which features hints of apple blossom, raspberry, hibiscus, vanilla, and honeysuckle.
"Falling in love is a moment every girl daydreams about and Wonderstruck represents that magical feeling of promise and hope and intrigue," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Women's Wear Daily.
"It was fascinating to learn that you can layer so many different scents to create a beautiful end result," she said.
Swift also revealed that the title of her perfume was plucked from the lyrics of her hit song Enchanted.
"I wrote the lyric, 'I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,' for the song Enchanted about the first time you meet someone."
"A fragrance can help shape someone's first impression and memory of you."
"It's exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories," she added.

Madonna's Material Girl fashion line has come up with a new range of clothes which is not just for kids.
The new expanded line consists of push-up bras, bustiers, lingerie and sleepwear.
Despite the fact that the face of the brand is Madonna's 14-year-old daughter Lourdes (Lola) Leon, the core customer target is 18 to 25 years old, said the people behind the brand.
"Lola is 14, but she lives in New York City and has a very famous mom, so she has a very sophisticated eye," the New York Daily News quoted Lanie List of Iconix Brand Group as telling Women's Wear Daily.
"Lola is here once a month and sometimes more. She brings stuff from her own closet for inspiration. For the bath and body products she probably had 100 scents in front of her."
"(Lola) has a very mature approach to product development," she added.
Finding perfect pair of jeans more stressful for women than moving house!

A survey has found that finding the right pair of jeans leaves many women stressed out and depressed.
Out of 1,000 women surveyed, 43 per cent said that purchasing denims left them feeling more anxious than moving house, with it being most traumatic for those aged 50 plus.
The survey, which was conducted by online retailer isme.com consumers, said that skinny fits make them feel fat and unattractive, while two thirds of women aged 50 and over confirmed it was the most stressful of all their clothes-buying experiences.
Many claimed that fashionable denim brands make them appear overweight and the cuts display too much "bum cleavage".
"However much you might spend on a pair of jeans, an ill-fitting pair can take you from fashionable to frumpy in seconds," the Daily Mail quoted spokesperson for isme.com Jackie Lewis as saying.
"For trousers and jeans it's all about the waist, which thickens as you age -- if mature women simply buy a larger size to accommodate their waist, they find that the trousers are too large on the hips and sag around the bottom," added Lewis.
