Rihanna shows off her fine form on US Vogue cover
Rihanna has been chosen as the cover girl for the April edition of US Vogue magazine to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its shape issue.
The Bajan beauty is pictured in a sheer floral dress which clings to her enviable curves, artfully covering covering her modesty with the green blue and red flowers, reports the Daily Mail.
Her bright red hair, which is partially covering her face, is complemented by bright red lips against the blue sunset background shot by Annie Leibovitz.
The front cover claims Rihanna opens up about 'fame, family and how she really feels about her curves'.
Rihanna, who has been touring Australia in recent weeks, re-tweeted a post on Twitter that said: "Rihanna is the youngest black woman to cover VOGUE magazine US."

Jennifer Lopez has been named the new face of the TOUS Spring 2011 ad campaign.
"We are absolutely delighted to have the iconic Jennifer Lopez be the face of TOUS' Spring campaign," UsMagazine.com quoted Rosa Tous as saying.
"Jennifer is not just an amazingly beautiful woman, but also a talented actress, musician and dancer sharing with us strong family values as we are a family-owned business," explains Salvador Tous, Honorific President of TOUS.
The 41-year-old American Idol host, who was also recently named the first-ever global brand ambassador for Venus razors, had this to say of her new gig with the high-end jewellery brand.
"This is my favorite bear. You know, all girls love diamonds."
The superstar will be shot by Ellen Von Unwerth in a fun, feminine approach to the whimsical Spring collections designed by Rosa Tous with her husband Salvador Tous.

Victoria Beckham, who is five months pregnant, was spotted wearing six inch high heels as she jetted off for the US.
The 36-year-old left Heathrow Airport for Los Angeles after a business meeting in London. In tight jeans and a baggy top, she apparently attempted to conceal any sign of a bump, reports the Daily Express.
Flanked by minders, she clutched a handbag and wore dark glasses as she strolled through Terminal 5 to check in for her flight.
She and husband David, 35, who have sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, six, have confirmed that they are expecting a girl this time around.
Claudia Schiffer too shy to ever model on the catwalk again

German model Claudia Schiffer has vowed to never step on the catwalk to model clothes again, and she put it down to the fact that she is "shy".
Schiffer, 40, also missed out on making an appearance at Paris Fashion Week because she had some last-minute work to do on her debut cashmere collection, which launched this week, also in Paris.
"Nobody believes me but I'm very shy," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling Vogue.
"I understood that I had to do it when I was modelling but now, since I don't have to do it, I'd rather not," she said.
She admitted to being "much better in small groups of people than on a stage with everybody looking at me" and she said that no amount of persuasion will change her mind.
"Designers are very clever at trying to persuade me to do it each season and it's flattering that they do, but nothing would change my mind," she added.
Tyra Banks launches personalised fashion website, learning management at Harvard Business School

The entrepreneur's TypeF.com site is aimed at celebrating the individuality of women.
"With a lot of magazines, it tells you exactly what you're supposed to look like and if you don't look like this... you're a loser, you're not good enough," the Daily Star quoted Banks as announcing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last Thursday (March 10).
"I have to admit I was a model for many years and modelled in the magazines that promoted that image."
"What TypeF does is, it says, 'You are beautiful and you are you...Women in our individuality is what is beautiful.'
"The site is all about personalisation. If you go on and you log in...and say, 'I have a short, blonde pixie cut, I have my piercing blue eyes, I have an oval-shaped face, I am 5' 8"...' You type all of this stuff in and when you continue to come back to the site, we deliver stuff for you, exactly for your type."
Her website is not the only thing that is keeping Tyra busy these days. She has revealed that she has been attending the prestigious Harvard Business School since 2010.
"In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best," the New York Daily News quoted the 37-year-old as telling CBS News.
Banks is enrolled in the Harvard Owner/President Management Program, which allows busy entrepreneurs to spend just three weeks on campus a year for three years, and pay around 31,000 dollars in annual tuition.
"It's pretty exclusive. It's quite expensive. But, I feel like it is worth it. I feel like it is so, so worth it," she said.
Meanwhile, Banks admitted some are skeptical about her Ivy League education.
"I get mixed reactions. There are little facial expressions...The chin goes back, like, 'Really?'," added Banks.
My thighs are jiggly and I have cellulite, admits Kim Kardashian

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has admitted that she still has jiggly thighs and cellulite despite a rigorous exercise regime.
"Of course I struggle with insecure moments," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling SELF magazine. "I wish I didn't. But I love to eat! Especially sweets."
"And I'll say it. I think my thighs are jiggly and I have cellulite. Now let's move on!" she added.
The reality star, who has become best known for her curves, said she feels the most confident after putting in some much-needed time at the gym.
"You have to feel good to look good," she said. "On days when I need extra motivation, I just think: 'Bikini, bikini, bikini!' "
Though her exercise regimen took a pause last year during filming of her E! reality show Kourtney and Kim take New York, Kardashian is more strict when it comes to working out in Los Angeles.
"When I'm in LA I exercise every day, I'm in the best shape of my life," said Kardashian, who keeps in shape with seven-day-a-week gym sessions.
People think I'm a great big fat Viking, says Kate Winslet

Another celeb who's weighing in on weighty issues is Kate Winslet.
The Revolutionary Road star -- who is well known for defending her curvy figure -- is often complimented on how good she looks, leading to her presuming people think of her as bigger than she is.
"It seems to me I look very different from how people expect me to be," Adelaide Now quoted her as saying.
"Clearly they think I'm a great big fat Viking. My body is different through nothing other than my being older. My clothes fit me the same way they've fitted me for the last five, six years. And of course I was a lot more voluptuous then," she added
However, the 35-year-old actress admits she is less keen to talk about her body now because it's hypocritical.
Kate added to Britain's Vogue magazine: "I felt I had to defend my body and took a very public stand, which I still absolutely believe in. But I've stopped talking about it now. And, at a certain point, it does become hypocritical."
Vanessa Hudgens reveals former fast-food addiction

"I was so unhealthy,' the Daily Mail quoted Hudgens who flaunts her toned physique on the cover of Shape magazine as saying.
"I used to go to Cold Stone Creamery, get a tub of Butterfinger ice cream and eat it all before bedtime. And my fingers were permanently stained orange from Cheetos," she said.
But gorging on fast food quickly came back to haunt her when she stopped her rigorous dance routines when the High School Musical live tour took a break.
"When I came back, I almost couldn't get my costume on," she admits.
"When I finally got it zipped up, my boobs were up to my chin!"
"The director, Kenny Ortega, saw me and said: 'Whoa, mamacita, look at you!"
"And I was like: 'I don't know where this came from!' But I knew."
"I lived on Hot Pockets and never touched vegetables; I needed to do something about my diet," she added.
How Mila Kunis starved herself for 'Black Swan'

It's certainly amazing what stars sometimes have to do to stay trim. Mila Kunis has revealed how she lost weight for her role in Black Swan.
The Russian-born actress had to appear superslim in the ballet thriller and watch her calorie intake at all times.
She shed 20 pounds (9 kilograms) and weighed in at just 95 pounds (43 kilograms) by the time the film wrapped.
Kunis said that she was starving for much of the film shoot -- and a trip to the catering table was not an option.
"I was on a five meal-a-day diet of 1,200 calories. I could eat anything that fit into the palm of my hand. That's it," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"It was hell but I wouldn't trade it for the world...How often can you lose 20 pounds, get en pointe and work with brilliant people," she added.
Kate Moss sizzles in new raunchy ad for Dior Addict lipstick

Kate Moss, who famously became known as 'Cocaine Kate' after being captured on camera allegedly snorting cocaine in 2005, is now starring in a film to show she's an Addict of quite a different nature.
The 37-year-old supermodel stars in a glamorous new promo video for Dior's new Addict lipstick, reports the Daily Mail.
Directed by Jonas Ackerlund and soundtracked by Duran Duran, the film sees Moss in her lingerie cavorting around a Paris apartment that's been somewhat trashed as she gets ready to go out.
She puts on her makeup -- including the lipstick in question -- and kisses the mirror before diving into a chauffeur-driven vintage car to put on her stockings in a rather provocative manner.
In an intriguing twist, the model also speaks a few lines -- her voice is rarely heard for more than a few words on adverts.
There are snatches of conversation, like: "I'll see you later after the show. What are you doing?" before directly addressing the camera with: "There was this party last night..."
After putting on another slick of pale pink lipstick in the back of the car, the mother-of-one also intones: "A girl can't make an entrance without her lipstick."
The stunning star is then seeing running a gauntlet of cameras as she gets out of the car and makes her way into a building and take her place on the front row for a Dior runway show.
Moss then delivers the pay-off line: "Dior Addict -- be iconic."
The film and accompanying photographs for the advertising campaign were shot last year around the Dior pret-a-porter Spring/Summer 2011 shows.

Looks like someone else is looking to get her feet wet with a lucrative clothing line. Actress Kirsten Dunst has revealed that she wants to launch her own collection.
The Spider-Man star, who is currently the face of Bulgari's Mon Jasmin Noir fragrance, is eager to branch out into the fashion industry.
She admitted that she would be interested in getting involved in a small-scale design venture.
"I wouldn't want my own entire fashion line, but I'd do a collaboration, a one-off. I wouldn't say no, it sounds like fun," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Wwd.com.

In the meantime, Lady Gaga has turned her fashion sense to more philanthropic purposes. She has designed a special charity bracelet to raise funds for Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims.
The Born This Way singer, 24, has asked her fans to spend just 5 dollars (3 pounds) on the white rubber prayer band, reports the Daily Mail.
A post on her website and Twitter page said all proceeds from the band -- which will be available from March 25 -- will go to the Japan tsunami relief fund.
The bracelet has 'We Pray For Japan' written in both English and Japanese as well as an image of her 'monster claw', a symbol her fans use to show their love for the singer.
Gaga is a huge fan of the country and is inspired by its art and fashion. Her stylist Nicola Formichetti is half-Japanese.
Mick Jagger's model daughter finds gap-toothed craze 'insane'

Model Georgia May Jagger may not mind the wide gap between her front teeth, but finds the craze behind it 'insane'.
The daughter of Mick Jagger doesn't understand why people are paying to have their teeth tinkered with to look like hers.
"Mum told me the other day that people in America are having their teeth changed to be more gap-toothed. That's insane!" the Sun quoted her as saying.
"Why would you pay money for this?" she added.
Now John Galliano's 'victim' defends designer
Image: John GallianoPhotographs: Scott Gries/Getty Images
A man who was apparently verbally abused by John Galliano has come to the defense of the disgraced designer.
Philippe Virgitti, a receptionist from an Asian background who filed a police complaint along with pal Geraldine Bloch, has dismissed the matter as a 'simple bar dispute' which shouldn't impair the couturier's career.
Galliano was dismissed as creative director for couture house Christian Dior following allegations he hurled anti-Semitic abuse at Virgitti and Bloch during a night out in Paris, France last month.
The 50-year-old designer also faces up to six months in prison regarding the same.
But Virgitti has now broken his silence about the allegations.
"For me it was a simple bar dispute. John Galliano does not deserve this. I do not want him to be destroyed like this," Contactmusic quoted him as saying. "I don't think he's racist or anti-Semitic. I just think he's very ill."
"I would like Mr Galliano to benefit from this unhappy story by drinking a little less and getting back to making the dresses and shows that he did so well," Virgitti added.
The claim, made to Le Parisian newspaper, will be looked at closely by magistrates and could even see Galliano's trial abandoned.
A legal source close to the case explained: "Mr Galliano did not physically hurt anybody -- the allegations are simply about what he said. If he was solely involved in some drunken banter, rather than anything overtly racist, then there is no case against him."
It's official! Emma Watson is the new face of Lancome

Emma Watson has finally confirmed that she is the new new face of Lancome.
The Harry Potter actress took to Twitter last week to hint, "A new venture is starting - what can it be? Follow my clues and you will see..."
This was followed with rhymes including: 'I'll pierce your skin if you hold me wrong but I'll love you forever if you pass me on,' which alluded to Lancome's logo -- a rose.
Emma also referred to a previous face of Lancome, Julia Roberts, with the tweet: "This Pretty Woman was their latest recruit. Other great actresses have previously followed suit."
All was finally revealed this evening with the statement: "It starts with an L and ends with an E. I'm sure you have guessed the new face of Lancome is me!" reports the Daily Mail.
In a statement, company president Youcef Nabi said: "Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancome."
Sofia Vergara clears 'skinny' Pepsi ad controversy
Image: Sofia VergaraPhotographs: Cover of Shape Magazine, March 2011
And in a final piece of endorsement gossip, Sofia Vergara has denied rumours that advertising bosses used digital technology to make her look thinner in a new advertising campaign for Pepsi.
She said that she looked slimmer in the photos because of a wardrobe choice.
The Modern Family star is seen wearing a large blue hat and a revealing halter-neck top in the pictures to promote the drinks brand's new Diet Pepsi Skinny Can.
The commercial, however, received criticism from critics and campaigners, who alleged computer wizardry was used to minimise Vergara's curves, with a representative for The National Eating Disorders Association calling the advert 'thoughtless and irresponsible'.
Vergara has now cleared the controversy, insisting the pictures have not been altered in any way.
"That is not true at all. I saw the pictures, and now with technology, they're looking at it on the screen right after they take them. It was just a different way of dressing me," the Daily Express quoted her, as telling the Boston Herald.
