US film industry cable network Reelz conducted a poll to find out which Hollywood hottie, alive or dead, rates highest when it comes to their adoring public. Here are the results!

1. Marilyn Monroe

It will be half a decade since the tragic death of the original blonde bombshell next year, but she's far from forgotten. Marilyn, the star of such classics as Some Like It Hot and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes was voted to the top spot by over 80,000 fans, ahead of such big-screen greats as Elizabeth Taylor.

Her much-hyped flick The Tourist alongside Johnny Depp may have tanked, but beauty Angelina Jolie still grabs second spot. Anyone who's seen her sizzle as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider will agree that she deserves it!

Buxom beauty Scarlett is very much a modern-day Marilyn. With her blonde hair and voluptuous curves, the Vicky Cristina Barcelona actress has most men drooling and makes it in at Number Three.

The 41-year-old Welsh stunner hasn't appeared in a movie since 2009, but her popularity seems unaffected by it. Catherine, whose most memorable performances have been in Chicago and The Mask of Zorro, takes fourth place.

Mesmerising Mexican mamma Salma rounded off the top five. She has sizzled on the screen in such movies as Once Upon a Time in Mexico and From Dusk Till Dawn.

The 70-year-old is one of the biggest sex symbols of this century and nobody seems to have forgotten just how incredible she looked in movies from over four decades ago, like One Million Years BC and Fantastic Voyage. So Raquel made it to sixth spot.

Coming in at Number Seven we have Jessica Alba. While the Fantastic Four star's filmography may not be as impressive as others on the list, she looks a bombshell on the big screen for sure!

The legendary queen of Hollywood, who has offered up timeless hits like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Cleopatra nabbed eighth position. Coincidentally, eight is also the number of times she's been married, which should tell you something about just how alluring she was back in the day!

Die Another Day. Orange bikini. Need we say more? Okay, maybe just that Halle is one incredibly stunning, talented actress and made it to the list at ninth place.

And finally, rounding off the top ten we have Transformers sex symbol Megan Fox, whose appearance eclipses her acting skills. But doesn't look like anyone's complaining!
