Add to the season's sizzle with styles that keep these hues in mind.
The mercury's rising and it's time you refreshed your wardrobe.
In the following pages, we bring you 2012's hottest spring/summer colour choices -- take your cue from these beautiful ladies!
Neon green
Make a bright statement with luminous green -- you definitely won't go unnoticed! Neon shades are not for everyone, but you've got to be bold and experiment with your look, because that's what fashion's all about after all.
You can also opt for a few accessories instead of going the whole hog.
And if you think it's best worn casually, think again. Malaika Arora Khan certainly rocks her cocktail bodycon number!
Mint green

If subtle and classic is more your style, make like Mrs Beckham and spring for mint instead.
It's the biggest colour trend for 2012 and both high-end designers and high street labels are fawning over it, particularly when it comes to footwear and handbags.
Soft and whimsical, you can pick pastel or a couple of shades darker.
Nude

No longer is it a neutral limited to patent leather stilettos and subtly complementing brighter clothing.
Nude has emerged as one of the biggest fashion trends in recent years and it's still holding strong in 2012 -- get a load of Neha Dhupia looking like a million bucks.
Delicate and feminine, it can be executed on both garments with soft silhouettes and ruffles, as well as clinging outfits that bring out the best in your figure.
Baby blue

Here's another pretty tone in the same league.
Baby blue is for women who like the concept of ethereal beauty -- is it any wonder that Isabeli Fontana looks almost other-worldly as she strikes a supermodel pose in that dress?
With all the appeal of an ocean breeze, this gentle colour has come straight off the runway this season.
Fuschia

No wonder it's also called 'hot' pink -- it is, in every sense of the word!
While it's not the 'it' colour of the moment, fuschia has nevertheless appeared often enough in 2012 to be taken adequate notice of.
It's womanly, it's flirty, it catches the eye -- Ileana D'Cruz certainly drives those points home! So ensure that you pick up a couple of key pieces, even if it's just a handbag or an acrylic wrist cuff.
Orange

Orange is scoring hugely at the moment -- the citrus colour is lining up shelves by way of garments, bags, shoes, scarves, belts, even sunglasses.
In fact, it's not a sartorial style blooper to get kitted out from head to toe in the juicy shade this season, so make the most of it while you can, like Taylor Swift!
Cobalt blue

This is about the only deep, dark tone that's made the cut in 2012.
Cobalt is rich and seductive, making it particularly ideal for evening and formalwear.
Steer clear of mere accessories and make a statement with this colour on any occasion that matters...you'll look the part of royalty, just like Sonakshi Sinha does here!
Coral

Coral is another carry-over from 2011; the spritely hue manages to capture the essence of summer perfectly, after all.
A summer dress in coral (like the one you see here on Mila Kunis) is a must-have and you can also team it with other, brighter colours for a mix-and-match effect that's straight out of a fashion glossy.
Pastel lilac

Pastels are certainly making a comeback and at the fore we have lilac with its lovely, wispy appeal.
The flowers are associated with the fresh scent of summer and so is their colour -- think a lovely pair of wedges and matching clutch, or a cocktail and belt in contrasting shades.
Set it off with striking makeup like model Natalia Vodianova in this picture.
Banana yellow

Shine as bright as the sun with this playful tone!
Banana yellow is attractive, attention-grabbing and amazing in every sense of the word, according to style gurus.
Of course, as with coral, a little summer number in this colour can never go wrong. Or you can use just a dash of it to add 'oomph' to any outfit.
Peach

Part of the caramel family, it's easy for coral and peach to overlap, but both hues are vying for attention in 2012.
The latter is paler and of course, fruitier in appearance. Here, Kate Moss shows you how to get it just right if you want to score in the high-fashion stakes.
Besides accessories, makeup can also add a touch of this colour to your appearance -- think eyeshadow, nails, lipstick, rouge...Peach possibilities are endless!
Black and white stripes

And finally, we come to this classic combination that's riding a new high.
Black and white in themselves are not part of this year's heavy artillery, but together these two neutral shades are raising quite a few eyebrows lately.
You can do them like Deepika Padukone (with a hint of gold added in), or any other way you like -- just make sure you have some stripes handy to show off your fashionista leanings!
