Here's a look at the label's newest offerings, showcased in the Capital a few day ago.
Couturiers Satya Paul unveiled their latest collection, The Art of Tarot, in New Delhi last week, on June 30.
Inspired by the mystic medium, head designer Puneet Nanda created both ethnic and Western ensembles centred around 15 of the 78 Tarot cards used to tell fortunes.
Prints dominated most of the outfits, with sequins and exotic stones embellishing a select few.
Bollywood bombshell Jacqueline Fernandez modelled not one but two showstoppers, the first of which is seen here -- a shimmering gold ghagra choli adorned with a feathery headdress for effect.
Flower power
Fuschia comes to the fore with this plush drape, teamed with a heavily ruffled bikini blouse.
Keeping it classic
Deep shades of brown and pale gold make for a classy sari, complete with exaggerated feather brooch for that added edge.
Feminine frame
Red, black and just a hint of gold make for an eletric mix on this stately ensemble, showing off a plunging neckline.
Shades of grey
The designer goes for a decidedly smoky effect with this one, showing a combination of grey and black swirls. The choli shows off cutwork and has an eye-catching corset fit.
Hiking up the hemline
The elegance of the drapes is interrupted by a short, jazzy number with touches of embroidery.
Midnight muse
This gown is nothing if not 'with it', moving from a bandaged pattern on the torso to a delicate, sheer skirt below. Very red carpet!
Tinge of maroon
Lines of black and grey are broken intermittently by a vibrant maroon and the long-sleeved blouse is nothing if not chic.
Playing peek-a-boo
Another cut-away neckline takes centrestage in all-black, with the rouches and tucks defining the silhouette.
Second-time stunner
Jacqueline blazes on the ramp once more, this time in a spangled red and orange gown, topped with a seductive corset and gigantic feathered headdress.
