It's a day that will go down in the annals of history and in a round up of several cheerful, royal and awe-inspiring moments, here's a look at -- you guessed it -- the Royal Wedding!
The vibe
The UK's been in a state of excitement for weeks and thousands of well-wishers spent the night out in the street in order to gain a good vantage point from which to watch the proceedings. Here, we see the crowds along the route of the wedding at Westminster Abbey.
The venue

Westminster Abbey is not only an imposing monument with a 1,000-year-old history -- it is the site of 15 royal weddings to date.

Ceremonies started earlier in the day, with a marching band keeping the spectators entertained as they took the procession route to the Abbey, ahead of Kate and Wills.
