Indian-origin British model features in the campaign of the British luxury brand's latest campaign.

Neelam Johal has earned the unique distinction of being the latest campaign face of the British luxury brand Burberry.

In the campaign, the Indian origin Johal poses alongside the actor Jamie Campbell Bower (who plays the lead role in the television series Camelot and has been featured in movies including The Twilight Saga and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows among others) and the teen noble-turned-model Lady Jean Campbell.

The 18-year-old model love spending time with her sisters and counts Keeping up with the Kardashians amongst her favourite television shows.

"I'm not a film lover, she tells Models.com in an interview, "because I hate sitting down for that amount of time, but I'm obsessed with The Godfather trilogy."

Johal's favourite designer brands include Burberry (of course), Alexander Wang and Balenciaga and her signature perfume is YSL Elle that she tells Models.com she's 'worn for years'.

Having walked for Burberry, the teen model now hopes to walk the runway for Chanel in Paris and hopes to visit Brazil, New York and the Maldives some day.

Neelam Johal confesses to be a bookworm and counts Khaled Hosseini as one of her favourite novelists.

Burberry is one of the most iconic British luxury brands best known for its trench coat designed by its founder Thomas Burberry.

Founded in 1856, the then 21-year-old Burberry started out by opening his store in Hampshire England.

By 1880 Burberry had introduced the gabardine fabric that was not only water resistant but also breathable.

In 1901 he submitted a design of a raincoat for the army officers to the United Kingdom War Office. The coat would eventually become an optional item of clothing in the British Army and begin to be called the 'trench coat' by the soldiers on the frontlines.

While another luxury brand Aquascutum also claims to have invented the trench coat, Burberry is most identified with the garment that you see the models in the picture wearing above.

Burberry was listed by Interbrands as the 77th most valuable brand in the world and is known for its unique tartan pattern which is also one of the most extensively copied trademarks.
