Naomi Campbell's fashion tribute to Haiti

After she held a spectacular charitable fashion event in Mumbai last year to raise funds post the 26/11 terror attacks, Naomi Campbell is at it again.

On February 12, the supermodel and her famous friends put on another fabulous Fashion for Relief showing at the Fall 2010 New York Fashion Week, with the benefits going to earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Take a look.

First up is the catwalk queen herself, sizzling in a shimmery blue gown.

Meet the Duchess

Co-hosting the show with Campbell was Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, who showed just how one can age gracefully in a floor-sweeping kaftan-style number.

Supermodel style

Supermodel Helena Christensen joined in the charitable effort, strutting her stuff in a sensual lace-lined cocktail dress. At 41, she's still fully capable of giving the younger fashion brigade a run for their money!

Looking dapper

R&B star Chris Brown played the gentleman in a Dolce & Gabbana suit.

Purple craze

Seen here is actress Malin Akerman, looking radiant in a purple one-shouldered mini.

Switching roles

Veteran designer Diane von Furstenberg looked triumphant in the switching of her role from couturier to muse.

Makeover

Daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and actress-model-designer Kelly Osbourne showed off a slimmer silhouette in electric red.

Reptile inspiration

Heiress, socialite and fashion icon Daphne Guinness wore an outrageous Alexander McQueen ensemble, as a tribute to the talented designer, who died tragically on February 11, nine days after the passing of his mother. It is alleged, although not confirmed, that he committed suicide.

Sunny yellow

Another supermodel, Irina Pantaeva, strikes a pose in a stunning yellow floor-sweeping gown.

Haute hippie

Next up is a hippie-style silver-grey maxi, worn with a headband for effect.

DKNY it is!

Another designer to step up to the runway was Donna Karan, who chose to wear a striking all-black number.

Fuschia fantasy

The Fashion for Relief showing was a colourful affair, as is apparent from this resplendent fuschia dress.

Metallic statement

Outfits ranged from the feminine to the assertive, like this eyeball-grabbing metallic ensemble.

The next Naomi?

The lovely Selita Ebanks, who's slated to be the next-gen dusky supermodel after Naomi and Tyra Banks, didn't disappoint.

Hot stuff!

While Naomi herself proved why she's one of fashion's best-known faces (and bodies) once again, in a thigh-skimming hot number.

A special tribute

The close of the show saw Christensen, Campbell and others gather in McQueen's outfits on the runway as a mark of respect for the deceased designer.

Quite an event!
