The 'Save & Empower the Girl Child' initiative organised by Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital saw the likes of Madhuri Dixit, Preity Zinta, Malaika Arora Khan, Lara Dutta, Mandira Bedi, Swara Bhaskar, Evelyn Sharma, Isha Koppikar, Waheeda Rehman and Helen not only come down to support the cause but some of them also walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra.
It was a noble cause and Bollywood celebs were present in full force to express their solidarity.

Madhuri Dixit Nene, who walked the ramp for fashion designer Manish Malhotra, exhorted the audience to take a pledge in support of the girl child.
She said, “Let every girl child bloom, flourish and spread her fragrance in this world. Let us salute every girl child, every woman, every little Laxmi and Saraswati reincarnate in India. Let us join hands to abolish female foeticide and make this world a better place.”
