'Cryptic Ink', the new collection from label Myoho by duo Kiran and Meghna was showcased on Day One of Lakme.

Taking inspiration from Zellige, the terra cotta tilework that forms the mainstay of Moroccan architecture, designer twosome Kiran and Meghna offered up a nostalgic old-world collection at the LFW.

Garments from 'Cryptic Ink' were understated and muted in shades of black, ink, grey, beige and rust and the favoured fabric was silk.

Seen here is Surelee Joseph in a twisted, multi-print blouse worn over a turtleneck.

Touch of the feminine

A cheerful yellow polka-dotted scarf lends colour to a floating front-fastened jacket.

Rust and grey mix well on this layered empire-waisted dress with asymmetric hemline.

Twisting touch

The designers fuse prints once more on this flattering number with twisting detail on the bodice.

This one shows a lot of leg for a change, with contrasting polka dots and rust meeting at the cinched waist.

Simple but striking

Kiran and Meghna offer up yet another Indian flavour, this time in olive green, with a billowing, sheer jacket.

See-through pants, a tie-up jacket and neckscarf make for a unique study in contrasts.

While this sari is given a rather urban, casual look courtesy the blouse and shoes, it is actually a thing of beauty, with its floral design.

One each!
