Designer Sailex Ngairangbam presented versatile fashion on Day Three of the Lakme Fashion Week.

The choice of colours were beautifully serene -- as if naturally speaking a summer language with buttercup hues, rose wine and champagne in a pleasant succession.

From linen suits for the lovely lady, to utterly feminine sheer chiffon dresses, the line accentuated the femme fatale.

The hint of safari and military hues gave a masculine touch to the casual and sporty creations.

Sexy shorts, cropped tops, tiny minis with slits were also part of the collection.

The kaftan-maxis too had perfect design directions.

Single-shoulder sheers with bodice made the formal collection look celebratory.

The detailing in his tops and blouses ensured that each set could be worn exclusively or when paired with another.

The flared skirt made a grand comeback through his collection.

The sheer effect was visible across garments which brought in the much-needed glitz to the otherwise sober silhouettes.
