The much-awaited Rocky S show saw much action and drama as his friends from Bollywood Bipasha Basu and Minnisha Lamba showed up to support the designer and occupied the first row.

Rumour had it that Sameera Reddy too tried to walk in, albeit much after the show had started but was shown the door. Slighted, she walked out right away!

Anyway here's what happened on the ramp!

So Rocky S' latest collection was called Rocky Star and in his own words 'was based on glamour and glitz'. According to the designer the chandelier was the inspiration behind this collection.

Delicate laser cutwork in net and georgette and intricate cord work with crystal emphasis were some of the prominent features of Rocky's latest designs.

The colour palette moved from nudes to whites to greys and finally ended with blacks.

Fabrices used were georgette, chiffon, satin, silk and net and though the designer liked to believe that the line was 'sophisticated', we were struggling to see the sophistication in the goth.

And the bride wore black? The veil seemed to suggest a bridal touch to an otherwise rock-goth look.

According to the designer, the collection comprised an array of dense crustal, kundan jeweled embroidery and sequins, sheeting in fine pattern, shell button with tulle texture and intense monotone'.

We had an almost Angelina Jolie-esque moment a few shows ago. But we couldn't help notice how this gown by Rocky S seemed to have been eerily inspired by Jolie's Oscar gown!

Rocky S walks the ramp in an all-black avatar, seemingly pleased with himself and the collection, to take a bow as the show ended.
