Hello brother! Rani and 'bhaiyya' Sabyasachi rock the Couture Week

Rani Mukerji may have showed up at Sabyasachi Mukherjee's show at the India Couture Week but anyone present would admit that the real stars were the elaborate set and the breathtaking clothes.

The newly-wed star gushed over his designs (erm... who doesn't) said that Sabya was 'like my brother and good friend'.

Rani Mukerji's next film Mardaani is set to release soon and the star said she intended to promote it wearing Sabya's designs.

The designs were presented against the backdrop of an elaborate set, a replica of a luxury train.

The collection, Ferozabad harked back to a time gone by and evoked the old-world charm of the city of Mughal emperor, Akbar.

While for most part, the collection featured Indian designs, the designer also introduced a few western silhouettes like these.

Models presented, sarees teamed with high-neck blouses, anarkalis, lehengas and shararas.

Model Pia Trivedi showcases a stunning Sabyasachi sari, though we also cannot get our eyes off those exquisite white shirts in the background. Can you?

The men dazzled in bandhgalas, embroidered trousers and khadi coats.

And while you might need to be a fashion-evolved soul to carry off something like this, we cannot help but start checking a list of places we would die to wear this to.
