The second day of Kolkata Fashion Week was rounded up with designer duo Dev r Nil's collection, Frozen.

"We tried all natural fibres like pure silks and cotton, and stressed mainly on the cut-works...it's very time-consuming as all are hand-done. As for the colour palette, we stuck to traditional colours like black, red and white," said Dev.

Referring to the catwalk of flowers, Nil said it is the very essence of Bengal and the devi-look of modern Bengali women that have been highlighted.

Cutwork couture

To be sure, the cutwork garments were eye-catching. Pia Trivedi looks elegant in this ravishing red and gold churidaar kurta.
