Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Irina Shayk is upset with Spanish GQ after nude photos of her were published in the magazine.

The 24-year-old Russian beauty's agents threatened to sue the mag over the pictures, which they claim have been digitally altered.

However, the magazine insists the underwear model happily stripped off - and has threatened legal action against Shayk's agents Elite.

The stunning brunette posed for GQ in Madrid on November 4 and the magazine published 14 sexy photographs and an interview this week.

The front cover shows her smoking a cigarette over the headline: "The most beautiful animal in the world. Do you want to discover Ronaldo's girlfriend naked?"

Inside she appears in a series of photographs in lingerie, and in five pictures she seems to be wearing no knickers.
One shows her outdoors in just a pair of high heels, and two others only wearing knee-length socks.

"She's the victim of photographic retouching and negligence by GQ Spain. It wasn't planned for her to appear naked," the Sun quoted Gael Marie, director of Elite models in Spain, as saying.

Marie said the photos "damaged and harmed the model's image" and added: "It's obvious the headline was designed with the sole aim of selling more copies."

The editor of the magazine Javier Fernandez de Angulo, who was present during the photo-shoot, hit back, saying: "The model took her clothes off completely naturally.

"Maybe she's annoyed because we put on the front cover that she's Ronaldo's girlfriend, and she asked us to avoid that."

Ironically during the interview Shayk says you don't have to be naked to feel sexy.

She said: "I feel very sexy when I'm wearing lingerie.

"You don't have to be naked to feel sexy.

"I think the power of seduction is within every woman, but of course I feel more sexy wearing lingerie," she added.

Actress Julianne Moore will be featured in this year's famous Pirelli Calendar along with models.

Moore, 49, is featured as Hera, the Greek goddess of marriage, in the black and white limited edition calendar, which has the theme of mythology, and which for the first time is also featuring men.

Moore is joined in the Pirelli calendar, which is also simply known as The Cal, by the Dutch model Lara Stone, the wife of British comedian David Walliams, who is portrayed as the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite.

The Pirelli calendar has been going for more than 40 years and is a limited edition publication given to special VIPs only, of which Prince Andrew is a regular recipient.

The latest calendar was unveiled in Moscow and was put together by designer Karl Lagerfeld with the pictures being taken in the Paris studio of Chanel earlier this year.

Four men also feature in the calendar and they are wearing codpieces to protect their modesty and include Lagerfeld's right hand man Baptiste Giacobini.

Lagerfeld said he had chosen the theme of Greek mythology because he had read the classic sagas such as Homer's Iliad as a child.

"I'm a visual version of Homer. I did it with my camera instead of with my pen," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.

David Beckham has always been known for his looks alongside his soccer skills, but the star was left absolutely baffled when grilled about his beauty secret.

While fielding questions about the 2018 World Cup bid, Beckham was suddenly asked about his film star looks by a flirtatious female radio reporter.

Stephanie Oehen, a pretty host for Zurich rock station Radio 24, said, "Forget the secrets of the England bid, what are your beauty secrets?"

As laughter rang out in the background, Beckham nervously rubbed his designer stubble, played with a microphone and looked at his feet.

"I don't know - having three boys to chase, that keeps me fit of course. Oh my goodness, you've got me flustered," the Daily Express quoted him as the footballer finally replied.

He then tried to deflect Oehen by telling her he still had a year left on his contract with Californian soccer team LA Galaxy.

Oehen, 23, said afterwards she was delighted simply to ask the world's most famous footballer a question.
"It's every girl's dream. He's gorgeous. I just wanted to know how he does it," she said.

The Australian supermodel, who is married to Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom (of Pirates of the Caribbean fame), created history when she posed for the cover of Vogue Australia's January issue.

The photo shoot, done when Kerr was six-and-a-half months pregnant, shows her in a black Victoria's Secret designer frock. Also featured are photos of Kerr nude, holding her belly.

The 27-year-old model is due early next year and talks about the joys of her pregnancy in the Vogue feature.

The singer-turned-fashion designer hits the treadmill every morning to maintain her figure and admitted she prefers it to running outside.

"I run four or five miles every day on the treadmill," News.com.au quoted Victoria as saying.
