Finally Samsung Galaxy S III is here. The South Korean giant unveiled its much-awaited phone in the Galaxy series -- S III, in London May 3.
The phone will be available for sale in Europe May 29 and will roll out across various geographies after that. Since the iPhone 5 is expected five months later Samsung seems to have got a heads up over competition.

Leaving Samsung's conventional design aside Samsung, for a change, has built Galaxy S III inspired by nature.
It's available in two colours: marble white and pebble blue. S III comes with a 4.8-inch HD super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and 309ppi pixel density display. At 8.6 mm thickness S III weighs just 133g.

The S III comes with 8 megapixel auto focus camera with bright LED flash and new backside illuminated sensor. Photos can be taken with zero time lag, that is, three photos per second manually or 20 in burst mode (a fraction more than 6 photos per sec).
The 1.2MP front-facing camera allows 720p HD recording.

The smart eye sensor of the S III automatically finds out when you are looking at the screen, reading something, surfing or watching video. It keeps track of your eyes and maintains a bright display for continued viewing.
