Ever wondered which countries top the charts when it comes to brainpower? And can there be such kinds of charts? According to World Population Review, a few nations consistently produce sharp thinkers and problem-solvers, coming from, it is believed, from a strong link between education and intelligence.

Japan 

At the head of the list is Japan with an average IQ of 106.48! Known for its disciplined lifestyle and love for learning, Japan's school system is one of the most structured in the world. From a young age, kids are encouraged to think critically and work hard.

Taiwan 

Nearly sharing the top spot, with an average IQ of 106.47 is Taiwan. Education is taken very seriously, like it is in Japan. Students often spend extra hours in tutoring after school.

Singapore 

The island country boasts an IQ of 105.89. It’s famous for having one of the best education systems globally. Singaporean students are trained to think smart from the start.

Hong Kong

Right behind the top three is Hong Kong, with an impressive IQ of 105.3. Students here grow up in a culture that prizes success in school, especially in maths and languages.

China

The Chinese follow closely with an average IQ of 104. With a massive focus on academic success and a competitive school environment, Chinese students also shine in global academic contests and often win top medals in maths and science Olympiads. In sports like table tennis and gymnastics, they’re world champions too!

South Korea

South Korea scores high on this list with a strong IQ of 102.3. Education is a huge part of life and dedication to studying definitely pays off in global rankings. Interestingly its counterpart, North Korea is way down in the rankings at 98.82, which shows how important a role environment plays.

The first European country to make this list is Belarus in Eastern Europe, which has a well-respected education system list. The nation's average IQ is 102.
